PREPAK captain in police net

SHILLONG: The SWAT team of the state police apprehended the self-styled captain of a banned outfit from Manipur–PREPAK–following a raid conducted at Lumshiap Nongmynsong here on late Thursday night.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang on Friday said that the operation was conducted following specific inputs and the arrested cadre has been identified as Moirangthem Boboi Singh (37) who hails from Yairimpok Thoubal, Imphal.
According to Kharkrang,  Boboi Singh had been staying in Shillong along with his family to evade arrest by Manipur Police.
Police also seized two laptops, four  pen drives, eight cheque books of different banks, three sim cards , two debit cards, mobile phones and an iPad among others. Singh revealed to the police that he was the self style captain of the banned PREPAK militant outfi
The Superintendent of police stated that the Manipur Police have been intimated about his arrest.
The apprehended person has been remanded in 10-day police custody.
