Naga peoples Front support to UPA in vain

Kohima: The BJP National Executive Council has refutes the allegation of the Congress that BJP is a communal party and alleged that UPA Government has did nothing for Nagaland, even after the Naga Peoples Front extended its support to UPA.
In a release issued by BJP National Executive Council Member of the Minority Morcha, Vethisa Chakhesang on Monday alleged that the UPA Government is concentrating only on mainland and neglecting Nagaland.
Citing an example he said the name of Dr S C Jamir was in the panel of Vice President of India, but UPA set aside him on account of favouratism for the vote bank.
P A Sangma, former NCP and UPA partner, from the NE states for the post of President of India, but UPA opposed him and support the mainland candidate.
In the hand of Congress the Christian and the tribal in the North East have no sign of regards and no chance for any coveted post in the country, which has clearly shows that congress is a communal party and racial discrimination party.
On the tribal Karbi and Rengma people in Assam, he said Assam could not be protected even hue and cry by the various organisation to the Congress Government in Assam.
He said the UPA hidden agenda of crocodile attitude on solving insurgent problem in North East Region can be judge by the people in the region and term Congress party as cease fire extension party and not solution manageable party.
Vethisa also claimed that it is only BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi, who can see the issues and importance of the Christian and the tribal’s, can only progress with hope and which can give special interest to the grievances of the people of North Eastern Region, he said. (UNI)
