Scuffle in jail

SHILLONG: A scuffle was reported in Shillong jail recently which compelled the police to arrest the jail inmates identified as Sankyntiew Decruse, Khrawboklang L. Mawnai and Anthony P. Marak. According to police reports, there was a quarrel among the inmates including GNLA cadres which resulted in the assault of one Sudharson Ch Momin and other inmates. The assault among the jail inmates is nothing new as in the past, the GNLA Chairman Champion Sangma had also faced the fury of jail inmates which caused physical injuries to him.
