SHILLONG: Six persons were arrested on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the murder of one Novivor Ali (22) at Pynthorbah, Golflink on January 20.
The body of Ali was dumped near Polo Petrol Pump, at Demseiñiong, Shillong. The cadaver was recovered on January 21 morning.
The arrested persons have been identified as Bikash Kumae Singh, Manoj Kumar, Bikash Kumar Roy, Anil Kharmuti, Pappu Pal and Wanbok Nonglyer.
According to police, the deceased was murdered after an argument cropped up between them.
Police also said that Ali is an addicted dendrite consumer.
