SHILLONG: The sitting Lok Sabha member from Shillong Vincent Pala on Wednesday said that he would not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls if he does not Congress ticket.

“If I am not given party ticket, I feel I should not contest against the party nominee,” Pala told reporters.

Besides Pala, other Congress ticket aspirants for the Shillong seat are John Karshiing and former Assembly Speaker Charles Pyngrope.

He, however, refused to say who will have the last laugh.
