Shillong Lajong youngsters picked for AIFF

SHILLONG: Ten members of Shillong Lajong FC will attend an All India Football Federation U-23 camp in Bangalore from January 26.

As a result of this, however, Lajong have pulled out of the upcoming IFA Shield tournament in Kolkata as the club had decided to field a predominantly young team for that competition.

United Sikkim will take SLFC’s place in the prestigious tournament.

The 10 members include Redeem Tlang, who has performed noticeably well in the senior Lajong team at the Federation Cup.

The 10 going for the AIFF camp are: Redeem Tlang, Kunzang Bhutia (GK), Milin Mil (GK), Sandeep Singh, Nim Dorjee Tamang, Rakesh Pradhan, Jacob, Zodingliana, Lalrammuana and Bipin Singh.
