Wansuk papers found valid

SHILLONG: The nomination papers of the lone candidate for Rajya Sabha election Wansuk Syiem (Congress) were found to be valid during scrutiny on Wednesday. Though the papers were found to be valid, the returning officer from the Assembly will declare the result only on January 31, which is the last day for withdrawal of nomination paper.
