GNLA ammu seized near Tura

TURA: West Garo Hills police intercepted a consignment of ammunition for small arms that was reportedly being transported for the GNLA and arrested two persons at Kherapara, on the road between Tura and Dalu, on Tuesday.

Police picked up Chesrang D Sangma of Betasing and Bardan Ch Marak of Oragitok while they were proceeding towards Baghmara with the consignment.

From their possession police recovered 100 rounds of .32 ammunition which was meant for GNLA commander Jackfruit Momin.
