Nagaland Cong Seva Dal asks party men to get ready for LS polls

Kohima: Nagaland Pradesh Congress Seva Dal (NPCSD) Chief Organizer G. K. Rengma encouraged and advised all state level party officers, respective district chief, mahila organizer and Seva Dal volunteers to be prepared and ready for the ensuing Lok Sabha election in all the 60 assembly constituency.
According to a statement from Seva Dal on Sunday,  Rengma stated this during the party’s state level office bearers, district chief organizer, mahila organizer and Seva Dal volunteers co-ordination meeting with organizer All Indian Congress Seva Dal in-charge Nagaland and Northeast P. A. Gurung at Dimapur district Congress Bhavan on Saturday, where Rengma also spoke on the important functions and duties of the party and encouraged the Seva Dal members to work unitedly so that a change could be brought through the Seva Dal and Congress under the leadership of AICC President Sonia Gandhi.
Main speaker of the meeting P A Gurung said that Seva Dal being the backbone of the Congress party, the party workers should understand and know the true meaning of the party.
He urged them to work actively for the ensuing parliamentary election and elect the right person who could work for the people and stand for them. The meeting was led by Organizing Secretary NPCSD L. Manen Jamir. Welcome speech was delivered by G. K. Rengma and all respective district chief organizers and mahila organizers presented district report. (UNI)
