- A pillion rider sustained injuries after falling off from the motorbike when it skidded near S.O.S Village at Barapani, under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District. The injured, Precious Nongbri (20/M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital. The incident happened on February 20 at 6:37 PM.
- A motorist travelling towards Tura from Ampati met with an accident on reaching 8th Mile under Betasingh Block, South West Garo Hills when the motorbike collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The incident happened on February 20 at 12:54 PM. The motorist, Sakjrang Marak (28/M) was taken to Tura Civil Hospital.
- A pedestrian sustained injuries after he was hit by a moving truck while walking on the side of the road at Mawlai Nongkwar, Shillong. The incident happened on February 20 at 2:02 PM. The injured, Rock Iawphngiaw (24/M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In all the above cases, the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at the respective locations helped in shifting the injured to various hospitals.
