Young minds battle it out in Minds’ meet

SHILLONG: Army Public School Shillong organized Minds’ Meet, an exposition of the imagination and innovation of the young minds of the school, on Saturday at the School Assembly Ground. It was inaugurated by Monika Bhanot and the meet was opened for the visitors who included parents, students and other dignitaries who were invited on the occasion.
The event saw young enthusiastic participants from different classes putting up more than 200 exhibits comprising of innovative working models and investigation based projects.
The exhibits by the different students of the school were eye openers on various topics such as Biodiversity, Kaziranga National Park, Rain Water Harvesting, Human Respiratory system, Hydraulic Bridge based on Pascal’s law, Electricity for Social and Economic Development, Electro planting, Functioning of a Dam, Modern Technology,  Environment etc.
The Chairman of the School Brig. S Bhanot, after interacting with the curious, vibrant and energetic young minds was very impressed with the programe and congratulated the Principal, Teachers and the participants for the exhibition which provided a platform to the young minds to exhibit their talents.
The visitors appreciated the students for their noble ideas which would help the world to become a much better place to live in. With an endeavor to promote scientific attitude among budding young students, this Minds’ Meet was one of its kinds, said Rajeevan, the Principal of the School.
