State troupe performs in Assam

NONGPOH: A 15 membered Youth Cultural Troupe from Meghalaya attended the inauguration ceremony of the North East Tribal Museum and Cultural Centre which was held at Nazirakhat in Guwahati, Assam on the February 27.
The Youth Cultural Troupe of the State was escorted by the contingent leader Bobby Wahlang and the participation of the troupe in the event was sponsored by the Directorate of Sport & Youth Affair, Government of Meghalaya.
The Government of Assam had established the North East Tribal Museum and Cultural Centre with an aim to preserve, propagate and develop Ethnic Arts and Culture of the Northeastern State.
