Review of Central schemes

Shillong MP Vincent Pala (R) and East Khasi Hills DC Sanjay Goyal during the district vigilance and monitoring committee meeting in Shillong on Saturday. Pala, the Chairman of the district level monitoring committee, who chaired committee meetings said that Jaintia Hills and Ri-Bhoi performed well as far as the implementation of the central schemes are concerned. The MP held separate meetings for Khasi Hills, Ri Bhoi and Jaintia Hills. Goyal informed that most of the Central Government sponsored schemes are ‘doing a satisfactory job’ in East Khasi Hills where the average fund utilisation is around 90 per cent.
