SHILLONG: Meghalaya beat Arunachal Pradesh by eight wickets thanks to splendid bowling displays by Donald Nongkseh (5-18) and Swarjeet Das (3 wickets), who restricted Arunachal, put in to bat first, to a meagre 94 all out in 37.4 overs in a BCCI A&A U-19 match on Saturday in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

In reply, Meghalaya made 97/2 in 24.2 overs, with Swarjeet top-scoring with 43 not out.

Meghalaya will next play Manipur on Monday.
