SHILLONG: The Shillong Press Club lost by a massive 102 runs to 1st MLP in the SCA Corporate Cum Office League at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Saturday.

Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, the police posted a challenging 168 all out in 19.2 overs.

Gautam Chettri made 39 runs from only 24 balls, while Paras took 4-24 in 3.2 overs.

In reply, the SPC were dismissed for 66 in 14.1 overs.

Francis Marbaniang top-scored with 19 runs, while Kumar Sewa took 3-9 and Gautam took 3-16 in four overs each.

Two matches will be held on Monday, with 6th MLP playing Meghalaya Secretariat at 9:00am, while MeECL take on SS Net Com at 12 noon.
