One held while taking bribe

SHILLONG: The special cell of the city police on Monday arrested a senior Government servant after he was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe rd Rs 50,000 from junior engineers of the Fisheries department. Informing this, SP (Shillong city) Vivek Syiem said a trap was laid on basis of an FIR lodged by the Principal Secretary to the Fisheries department KN Kumar and accordingly Winslow Pachiang (27), an Assistant Engineer of Directorate of Fisheries, was arrested while accepting the money at St Edmunds School campus.
