SHILLONG: Phyranilang Swer, an HNLC cadre, who was arrested along with his accomplice Nand Kishore Thakur from Kolkata on Tuesday, has been remanded to eight days of police custody.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that both persons were brought to Shillong on Thursday night and they were produced in the court on Friday
It may be mentioned that HNLC cadre Swer had escaped from NEIGRIHMS in July last year.
