Thiruvananthapuram: Senior BJP leader L K Advani on Tuesday expressed confidence that BJP led NDA would form the next government in the country and Narendra Modi would create an ‘unprecedented history’.

“There is no doubt among the people about whose government will come to power after the Lok Sabha polls and BJP and its allies are going to have an historic result”, Advani said while addressing a rally here, where party’s senior leader O Rajagopal is contesting.

“Narendra Bhai is going to make history in the country and I want Rajagopal to join the history by winning the seat from Kerala”, Advani said.

Taking a dig at the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Advani said it was for the first time in the country that even prior to election result an incumbent Prime Minister was looking for a house to move.

On the plight of Congress led UPA at the Centre, Advani said “if we ask the people of the country whether they want to re-elect the Congress, a roaring replay will be no…”.

Stating that the Left parties significance in the national politics was declining, he said they have dwindled to states like Tripura, West Bengal and Kerala. Advani said more and more people were joining BJP and wanted a change in the country. (PTI)
