Unclaimed body
On March 27 at about 9 pm, Pradhan Swer (42) was found lying unconscious at Mawblei, Shillong and was shifted to CH Shillong, where he died (April 8).
Assault
On April 7 around 4 pm, three persons, Sengbat Sangma, Sengrat Sangma and New Sangma assaulted Jussephine Sangriang (16) at Mawiong, Shillong. Later, one of the accused brandished a khukri with an intention to kill her. Police arrested the accused persons.
Theft
On April 3, unknown miscreants stole one LCD monitor and UPS from Revenue Budget & Finance Department of District Council, Shillong.
Rape
On April 2 around 12 noon, one Hiningston Snaitang (60) raped an eighteen-year-old physically disabled girl at Keniong village (SWKH).
Missing
Arben Singh lodged a complaint at Ranikor PS that on March 11 his daughter Pani Kumari (19) left Gomaghat (SWKH) for Bihar and since then her whereabouts are not known.
