State ‘A’ chess c’ship ends

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State ‘A’ Chess Championship, organised by the Meghalaya Chess Association, concluded at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jail Road.
The toppers are (in order): R Katrai, Bobby Lyngdoh, Gillford Thangkhiew, G Chakravarty, G Medhi, Jerry N Pajat, Kiran Joshi, Y Poudel, Alisha Lyngdoh, Kishan Dey, Ganesh Rai.
The top four will represent the state in the National Chess Challenger in Shimla from May 9-19.
