SHILLONG: The second edition of the MBA Fight Night will take place next month, organised by the Meghalaya Boxing Association.
This year the competition will be conducted in three weight categories – 49kg, 52kg and 56kg (for males only).
Teams will be organised into groups of four boxers each and those wishing to take part should contact the MBA secretary Larry Kharpran (9863113325 or 9774894525) by April 20, the last date for entry.
Last year’s inaugural Fight Night was held in two weight categories, won by Maitshaphrang Shynret (52kg) and Egnatius Nongrum (56kg).
