Condolence

The Speaker, members, officers and staff of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly have expressed deep sorrow at the sudden demise of Monindra Rava, ex-Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. The Assembly Secretariat expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Eye camp

As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, NEEPCO Women Welfare Association organised a free eye check-up camp conducted by Bansara Eye Care Centre at NEEPCO Corporate Office. The eye camp was attended by 160 employees of NEEPCO.

Caution

East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police M. Kharkrang has asked the city traders to be cautious of one Dinesh Roy (cell phone: 08416085170) claiming to be an agent of Imperial Marketing with its headquarter addressed as GHW, Paltan Bazar, Branch office, Shillong Paltan Bazar. Roy had supplied fake goods to the local traders.
