NONGSTOIN: Acting on a tip-off, police on Tuesday detained an ANVC-B cadre in Ranighat in West Khasi Hills.
A pistol and three live ammunition were seized from the possession of the cadre who has been identified as Thawar M Marak (22).
A case would be registered against the ANVC-B man under appropriate sections, police informed.
Ranighat falls under Aradonga Police Outpost.
