B-town thank ‘heroes’ on Mother’s Day

Mumbai: Bollywood personalities expressed gratitude to their mums for making endless sacrifices for them on the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Farah Khan, Raveena Tandon, Sridevi and Shilpa Shetty took to Twitter to wish their mothers.
“Happy Mother’s Day!” Madhuri tweeted.
Mother of three kids, filmmaker Farah Khan wrote,”There is no one way to be a perfect mother in a million ways to be a good one! To all the great moms a very Happy Mothers Day.”
“A happy Mother’s Day to all you glorious goddesses,” Tandon posted.
Sridevi wrote,” Wish all of you a very Happy Mother’s Day.”
Shilpa posted a picture of her along with mother Sunanda.
“My mom, Happy mothers day ma, big hug,” she wrote.
Filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar called mothers “superheroes”.
“Not all superheroes wear capes. Happy Mothers Day,” he tweeted.
Madhur Bhandarkar posted, “Youth fades, love droops, the leaves of friendship fall. A mother’s secret hope outlives them all. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra posted a childhood snap.
“Happy Mother’s Day mom. You are all the strength I need. Thank you for tirelessly handling everything,” she wrote.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher called his mother, “My woman of substance.”
Popular filmmaker Sudhir Mishra feels that his mother keeps him grounded.
“I meet my mother almost every day. I love her. She’s not brought me up to think that I am God’s gift to mankind. I get my objectivity from her,” he tweeted.
Filmmaker Karan Johar wrote,” Happy mothers day mom.”
Popular Bengali star Prosenjit Chatterjee wrote,” On this Mothers Day, missing my Maa a lot.”
Actress Sonam Kapoor posted, “Love you mama” along with a picture.
Actress Alia Bhatt shared a video and wrote,”Probably the cutest video I have seen. A Happy Mother’s Day.” (PTI)
