SHILLONG: The Odisha chapter of “RACE” (Research of Adult and Children Education) organised it’s 12th national level competition 2014 here in collaboration with Army Public School (APS) Happy Valley
58 GTC. The literary and cultural event was organised in State for the first time.
The two day event concluded on Saturday at Army Public School, Happy Valley.
Namita Goswami Thakur, Principal of the school informed that besides the students of 58 GTC, KV Happy Valley and St Mary’s High School Shillong, a total of 40 selected students from various schools of Orissa, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh also participated in the various literary and cultural competitions including debate, essay writing, quiz, songs, dances and paintings.
The students of Martin Luther Christian University were also part of the cultural programme.
