T K Bhattacharjee
Tarun Kumar Bhattacharjee, retd Director of Agriculture, Arunachal Pradesh, passed away on May 21 at his residence at Lower Mawprem. He had written a large number of widely acclaimed books on Arunahal Pradesh, its people and culture including flora and fauna. In recognition of his services to the state of Arunachal Pradesh, he was bestowed with the highest decoration by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. After his retirement, he settled down at Shillong and was an active contributor in various journals and newspapers in matters relating to Arunachal Pradesh.
