SHILLONG: The North East Educational and Development Society (NEEDS) in collaboration with the office of the District Planning, East Khasi Hills District conducted a one day workshop on Career Guidance for 367 students of Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian (KJP), Higher Secondary School and Synod Higher Secondary School. The workshop started by the ice breaking session and evaluation of students by Edward Thma, Programme Coordinator of NEEDS.
Various speakers dwelt and motivated students on various pathways in their career. Speakers included Dr P.J. Picardo, MD, NEIGRIHMS, Navin Chettri, Asst Prof, Commerce Dept, St. Edmund’s College, Clausen S Diengdoh, EE, PWD, Lavinia Khonglam, Programme Associate, Meghalaya Institute of Governance, Sister Duetina Latam of Nazareth Hospital among others. Gideon Kharkongor, Director NEEDS and C Paswett, RO, Planning were the special guests on the occasion.
