SHILLONG: The National People Party (NPP) will raise several issues pertaining to the state in the re-assembled Budget session that starts from June 6.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, NPP spokesperson James Sangma said that the party would raise the issue of the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, notably custodial deaths as well as killings of common people by insurgents.
The NPP leader said that the party would raise the issue of the delicate power scenario facing the State, and the frequent load shedding.The party would also raise the instances of corruption and poor delivery system of the Government in the state. The NPP would also mention about the issue of ever growing traffic jams in Shillong city.
