Act firmly against crimes against women: Rajnath to Delhi Polic

New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh today visited the Delhi police headquarters for the first time after taking charge where he stressed the need to firmly deal with crimes against women, discussed law and order issues with top officials assuring the force of all help in modernisation.

Asked about women’s security, Delhi Police Commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi said the Home Minister appreciated Delhi Police’s efforts in this connection and urged them to continue the good work with enthusiasm.

While appreciating the steps taken by Delhi Police for enhancing safety of women in Delhi, the Home Minister also stressed the need to firmly deal with crimes against women. (PTI)
