SHILLONG: The State Government has not taken any decision regarding the set up of a designated camp for the ANVC (B) cadres in West Khasi Hills.

“The Government had issued directions for locating a suitable location for setting up of a designated camp to the administration of several districts including West Khasi Hills,” Dr Sangma said in the Assembly during Question Hour on Monday.

Replying to a supplementary tabled by Mawlai legislator Embhahlang Syiemlieh, the Chief Minister informed that West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner had already expressed his inability to find a suitable location for the purpose.

Sangma asserted that Government would not take any decision which is against the wishes of the people.
