Food stolen

One Deepak Mirpuri lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on June 18 at around 5.30 am, unknown miscreants broke into his canteen on the premises of High Court Bar Association, Shillong and stole food items. On June 17, one of his female employees received an anonymous call from a cell phone, in which the caller abused and threatened her.

Arrest

A woman identified as Cheerfulness Sahkhar lodged a complaint at Rynjah police station that from June 13 to 16, her husband David Ryntathiang assaulted and threatened her at Umpling Dongshaneng. Police arrested the accused.

UTP assaulted

James D Marbaniang, Superintendent, District Jail, Jowai, lodged a complaint at Jowai police station that on June 16, one UTP Ranjit Khonglah assaulted his fellow inmate Bris Langstang inside the Jail premises.

FIR against police

Jengba R Marak lodged a complaint at Shallang police station that on June 12 at around 9 pm, while he along with others were in the house of one Bidan M Sangma at Rongkhugre  in West Khasi Hills, some police personnel of Shallang PS entered the house, manhandled one Sanjib and Jongba Marak and also threatened the complainant with dire consequences.

False case

A woman identified as Nambila N Sangma lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on June 9, one woman had falsely implicated her husband, Projen G. Momin, accusing him of attempting to rape her.

Theft case

One Bandas Thang lodged a complaint at Jowai police station that on May 21 evening, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Nibashisha Shadap at Umsalait village in West Jaintia Hills and stole one box containing cash Rs. 31,000. In this connection, one Benroi Lathong was apprehended on June 15 and later on his lead, the stolen box was recovered with the cash.
