SHILLONG: Consumers of Nongpoh, Sohra, Jowai and Mairang now do not need to stand in queue for hours to pay electricity bills as consumers of these can now avail the option of online payment of electricity bill.
Online payment can be made either through the MeECL website www. meecl.nic.in or directly to the website www.mepdcl.co.in.
MeECL said that the facility will be launched for other towns subsequently.
