Transport office in Rattacherra

JOWAI: The dorbar shnong, Rattacherra in East Jaintia Hills District has expressed happiness at the State Government’s initiative of setting up a Transport Office at the village located on National Highway 44.

The headman Khamsngurbha Pohiing informed that the Dorbar Shnong was happy that the Government had decided to set up the Transport Office in the village which was being demanded for a long time in the border area.

“The office will not only benefit the Government in term of revenue but also will help in proper demarcation of the inter-state border,” he added.
