DoNER Min sanctions projects

SHILLONG: The DoNER ministry has sanctioned seven new projects including the construction of an approach road from Chokpot in South Garo Hills to Jetra (17 Km) worth Rs 1764.76 lakh during current financial year 2014-15 (up to June 30, 2014).

In a statement issued here, the Ministry said on Friday that the projects with an approved cost of Rs.87.88 crore has been sanctioned under Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources(NLCPR) scheme. The remaining six projects including road construction, irrigation scheme and renewing electric installations were allotted to other Northeast states.
