Theft

On July 2 at night, unknown miscreants stole one Tata Indigo tourist vehicle (ML-05G-2531) from Lower Nongrim Hills, Shillong.

On July 2 at night, unknown miscreants stole 53 smart phones and Rs. 5,000 cash from the house/ office of Nirmal Bengani at Bishnupur Last Stop, Shillong.

On July 1 at around 3 am, unknown miscreants stole one Govt. Bolero vehicle (ML-01-6306) from the residential quarter of the District Tuberculosis Officer at Medical Colony, Williamnagar (EGH).

Burglary

On July 2 night, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Constine Thma at Bishnupur Bazar, Shillong and stole cash Rs. 4,000.

Rape

A person lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on June 17 at about 2 pm, one Ebormi Sana (21) raped his sister at Mukhaialong village (EJH).

Fake certificate

I. Majaw, Additional DC, East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that on June 13, one Keshav Chettri of Jhalupara submitted a fake birth certificate while applying for EPIC at DC Office, Election Branch, Shillong.

Fraud

One Dev Kumar Rai lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on May 28, unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs.20,000 from his account at SBI ATM, Nongthymmai, Shillong and Rs. 500 from Silchar, Assam.

Arson

On July 1 at about 11 pm, unknown miscreants vandalized one UBI ATM Booth at Jingkieng, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
