SHILLONG: Police arrested a cook of No. 14 Platoon, 4th MLP — Rajesh Kumar Singh — for stealing one INSAS Magazine along with twenty rounds of live ammunition from a havildar on Monday. Singh was arrested after Havildar Shyam Thakur filed an FIR stating that the magazine and ammunition allotted to him went missing. Police immediately conducted an inquiry and the stolen arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of Singh.
