Tuki appeals to Union Minister for early start of Airport project

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki appealed the Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju for sanctioning of the Greenfield Airport at Holongi to enable the start of construction activities in the current financial year.
The CM, who at present in Delhi met the Union Minister on Thursday evening, expressed the commitment of the state government to enhance air connectivity in the state briefed Raju about the urgency of the proposed Greenfield Airport, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of which has already been prepared by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), according to release issued by the CM office here on Friday.
