Soil and Water Conservation Minister Rowell Lyngdoh has clarified that he had a talk with the Commissioner and Secretary of the Soil and Water Conservation department to find out the facts on the issue of the alleged job scam that was reported in the media.

He said that there were two vacant posts that are to be filled up by promotion from existing peons and the department committee sat on July 18 to consider the recommended names of peons eligible for promotions.
