Committee elected
The Inner Wheel Club of Shillong elected its new executive committee for 2014-2015 at its installation programme held on Saturday . The elected members are Prem Tibrewalla (president), Mukta Singla (vice president) among others. Prof KR Sengupta of IIM,Shillong, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Blood camp
Social Work Committee, NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Shillong Commerce College in collaboration with Regional Blood Bank, Shillong will organize a voluntary blood donation camp on July 28 at 10 AM in the college premises.
Training session
A training session on mediation and conciliation to settle cases was held in the city on Saturday. Law Secretary, LM Sangma, who attended the session, said that there is an option for mediation and conciliation to settle cases amicably. The training, which is an initiative of the Meghalaya Legal Service Authority, will conclude on Sunday.
