RBYF warns against threat to aquatic life

NONGPOH: Concerned over the rapid extermination of aquatic life in different rivers in the State especially in Umrangksai River, the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation on Wednesday warned all those who were involved in illegal activities by using chemical explosive and other means to harm aquatic lives.

The RBYF urged the Wildlife Department, Nongpoh Division, to keep a check on such illegal activities and warned of strong action against the offenders.
