SHILLONG: NPP leaders and Tura MP Purno Agitok Sangma on Saturday met Governor KK Paul.

The meeting lasted for about 20 minutes.

The former Lok Sabha Speaker, however, refused to divulge the details about his meeting with the Governor.

“I will be talking to the media on Sunday and divulge the details on the issues which transpired during the meeting,” he said. Sources, meanwhile, revealed that Sangma raised issues pertaining to the NGT ban on coal mining and the extension of the tenure of the GHADC before the Governor.
