NONGSTOIN: West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, S. Kharlyngdoh, on Saturday inaugurated a two-km road at Sohpian which was constructed by the BSC C&C JV, which is undertaking the construction of the Shillong-Tura Road.
The road constructed by the company connects Ladrishan and Nongrang under Sohpian village.
The Deputy Commissioner and the local residents of Sohpian village appreciated the company’s efforts in providing necessary assistance to the local people of the village.
