JOWAI: The Jaintia Youth Federation (JYF), central body, has elected new office bearers. Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Election headed by JYF founder president, L.D. Lakiang, conducted the election.
Poipynhun Majaw was re-elected as president for the session 2014-16 besides other office bearers including Ombormi L Tariang as vice president, Marbait Tyngkan as general secretary, Firmly Rymba as joint secretary, Heibor Partiat as organizing secretary, Becareful Chyrmang as asst. org. secretary, Ialam G Syngkrem as publicity and mass media secretary, Niwasly Rymbai as finance secretary, Tellme Biam as sports secretary, Brightstar Chyrmang as education secretary, Deimonmi Phawa as environment secretary and Maldini Amkhloo as art & culture secretary.
The JYF women wing will be headed by Arlin Dkhar as president, Wanbok Papeng as vice president, Ngaitmon Dkhar as secretary and Friday Sana as joint secretary.
