Calvin Harris has been named as the world’s highest-paid Disc Jockey, after earning USD 66 million in last 12 months.

The 30-year-old DJ retained his number one position from last year and earned USD 20 million more than what he grossed in 2013, according to the Forbes magazine.

“The rise of dance music has been astronomical in the last three years. I happened to be in the right place at the right time,” Harris said.

The musician, who has recently split from singer Rita Ora, has beaten DJ David Guetta, who is second on the list with USD 30 million earnings in the past one year.

Tiesto was narrowly behind in third with USD 28 million after recently ditching his Ibiza residency. (PTI)
