Assault

On August 21 around 11.30 pm, one Ananto Rajbongshi assaulted Malai Mondol (32) at Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, Camel Back Road, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under inquiry.
On August 21 around 11.15 pm, unknown miscreants assaulted Kyrshan Jana (26) at Mawtawar Lumawsing (EKH). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Dr. H.Gordon Roberts Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under inquiry.
On August 20 around 9.30 pm, unknown miscreants assaulted Risborly Thongni (33) at Khlieh Iewduh, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under inquiry.

Theft

J.Z. Sangma, CEO, Tura Municipal Board, lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on August 20, unknown miscreants broke into the Office of the Chairman, Tura Municipal Board and stole computer monitor and CPU valued around Rs. 46,752.

Arrest

On August 20, Police arrested one Letton Sangma of Depa Garat (NGH) in connection with a kidnapping case under Mendipathar PS.
Police arrested three persons, Rocky Shylla, Tynshainbor Nongbsap and Adison Nongrum in connection with a robbery case under Mawryngkneng PS.

Vandalism

Brightstarwell Majaw lodged a complaint at Sohra PS that on August 6 around 10 pm, unknown miscreants damaged the window panes of his house at Mawshamok Tyrna village (EKH).
