SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Taekwondo Association will conduct the 5th Taekwondo Championship for Junior and Senior boys and girls at the Indoor Stadium, J.N. Sports Complex here on August 24. The Championship will commence at 9:30 AM.
Athletes possessing Black Belt Certificate issued by the World Taekwondo Federation and Black Belt ID Card from the Taekwondo Federation of India can participate in the Championship. The athletes can participate in two categories-junior division (14 years to 17 years) and senior division (17 years and above). Weighing for all weight categories will begin at 4 PM at the Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
