Central team of Rural Development visits Nagaland

Kohima: The System Implementation Support Mission team, under Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), of the National Mission Management Unit (NMMU) visited Koio village in Wokha district, under Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) Wokha intensive block Chukitong and monitored the ongoing community resource persons (CRP) round implemented currently at resource block villages on Saturday.
At the programme, MORD- NMMU Finance Expert Sharma said it was important to understand poverty to overcome poverty.
He said for those who have joined Self Help Groups (SHG) their good days were going to come, saying they formed groups to overcome poverty.
Chart presentation about group history was presented by SHG Noying Okho.
After the programme, interactive session with the DMMU Wokha and BMMU Chukitong was held at BMMU office. (UNI)
