Johansson welcomes first child

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson and her French fiance Romain Dauriac have welcomed a baby daughter. Johansson gave birth to Rose Dorothy in New York City, and the newborn’s middle name is apparently a homage to the actress’s late grandmother, according to People magazine. A spokesperson for the happy couple released a statement confirming the mother and child are doing well. “The couple is seeking privacy and are supporters of the No Kids Policy, the celebrity effort to keep famous folks’ children out of the public eye.” The 29 year-old star’s pregnancy news broke in March this year, which came only six months after Johansson announced that she and Dauriac, who is a French journalist, became engaged to be married. The pair went public with their romance in November 2012, but in January this year, Johansson revealed wedding planning isn’t on her agenda as of yet. (PTI)

Jennifer Aniston is pregnant?

Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is reportedly pregnant. The 45-year-old actress is rumoured to be expecting her first child with fiance Justin Theroux, 43, but friends believe she doesn’t want to officially announce the news because she’s worried about complications, it was reported. “The buzz in Jen’s inner circle is that she’s nearly three months along but doesn’t want the news to come out until she knows for sure that the baby will be okay,” a source said. Aniston has been dating Justin since 2011 and was reportedly thinking about her chances of having a baby six months into their relationship. “Jen started having fertility treatments six months into the relationship. She knew the older she got, the harder it would be to get pregnant, so she had her eggs frozen. “With regular attempts at in vitro fertilisation, she was hoping to get lucky, but she didn’t dare think about it too much because of the chance for disappointment,” the source added.
