Shalini R. Nongpiur has been awarded PhD in Bio-Chemistry by NEHU for her thesis “Purification, Kinetic Characterization and Immobilization of Acid Phospatase from rice bean (Vigna Umbellata Var. Umbellata) under the supervision of Dr. P.K. Ambasht. She is the daughter of late K. Khongriah and B. Rapsang and wife of Kitboklang Khyriem of Sunny Hills, Shillong.
