ANVC (B) C-in-C stopped at airport

SHILLONG: The C-in-C of ANVC (B) Mukost Marak on Saturday found himself in trouble when CISF personnel stopped at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati for carrying six empty shells of ammunition.

According sources, Marak was on his way to New Delhi to sign the peace pact when he was stopped at the security check.

However, the matter was settled as Marak told CISF personnel that he forgot to deposit the empty shells.

Later, he was allowed to proceed to Delhi.
